What's the minimum order? Can I order just one?

TL;DR

Most of our brands have no minimum — you can order a single garment. Under Armour and our promo product range carry minimums; the exact number is shown on each product page.

No minimum on most brands

For the majority of our stocked brands you can order a single garment. One t-shirt, one hoodie, one tote bag — that's a valid order and we'll print it the same way we'd print a run of 500.

Brands you can order in singles include AS Colour, Nike, Adidas, Gildan, JB's Wear, Syzmik and Biz Collection. If you only need one, that's the order we'll print.

Most printers in Australia set a minimum of 10, 25 or 50 garments. On these brands we don't — order what you actually need.

Brands and products that DO have minimums

A few categories carry minimums set by the supplier:

  • Under Armour — has a minimum quantity per order
  • Promo products — mugs, bottles, caps, bags, pens, lanyards and similar items each carry their own minimum

The actual minimum (where one applies) is shown on the individual product page. Add the product to your cart and the system will tell you if you're below the minimum.

Why minimums exist on some products

For Under Armour, the supplier sets order minimums to access wholesale pricing. We can't break those — they're the cost of stocking the brand.

For promo products, most are produced or decorated in batches by external suppliers and the per-unit setup makes single units uneconomical. The minimum is normally the smallest batch that actually fits the production process.

What changes with quantity

For brands with no minimum, the per-garment price drops as you order more of the same style code. A single printed tee costs more per unit than fifty of the same style — that's how bulk discounts work everywhere, and we're no different.

For a single garment with a single-side DTF print, you're looking at the garment cost plus $11.95 for the print. Add a second side and the print cost is $17.95 total.

The bulk discount kicks in automatically at checkout based on the total quantity of each style code in your cart.

Mixed sizes, colours AND prints all count toward bulk

This is where we're different from most printers. The bulk discount is calculated on the total quantity of a single style code — regardless of size, colour, or even the artwork being printed on each one.

Order 50 AS Colour Staple Tees and you hit the 50-unit bulk tier, even if:

  • The sizes are mixed (S, M, L, XL)
  • The colours are mixed (black, navy, white)
  • The prints are different on every garment — different names, different numbers, different designs

This is a big deal for school leavers (every hoodie has a different name on the back), sports clubs (numbers on backs), and corporate uniforms (different department badges). Other printers force you back to a single design to qualify for the bulk price. We don't.

When ordering one makes sense

Order a single garment when you want to check the print quality, colour match or fit before committing to a larger run. Most bulk customers do exactly this — order one, hold it in your hands, then place the full order with confidence.

Single-garment orders go through the same proof approval process. You'll get a digital mockup within 24 hours, and printing starts once you approve.
